Heaven and Earth! Are the shades of Pemberly to be thus polluted?

So the other night Bryce and I watched Pride and Prejudice... again. I vowed that I would say the above line to someone sometime this week, whether it was pertinent or not-- but i have not had the opportunity as of yet, so I said it now to all of you. We have a few favorite movies, but two mostly. I used to always make fun of my mom, I just could NOT understand how anyone could watch "While You Were Sleeping," twice a week, no matter how good it is. Well mom... now I understand.

Meet: Music and Lyrics
Meet: Pride and Prejudice

No joke, we could alternate between these movies every single night. We have seen them both so much that we honestly could quote every line, yet the sentiment is still there, and the jokes are still funny.

Isn't that amazing?
I think so.

Sometimes I think I am afraid to blog, much like i'm afraid to let people read my writing. I say I want to be a writer, yet I won't post any of my writing here, let alone blog random thoughts. Half of me is afraid some random student will stumble across my blog and steal my words for a cheap assignment, while the other half of me is afraid that my words are so embarrassing that you will all laugh to yourselves and say, "psh, she thinks she can be a writer!"

How's that for hopelessly conceited and insecure at the same time?

I am so excited to go to St. George for Thanksgiving. It has always felt like a haven for me there, I want to write that whole week, and not just say it, really do it. Maybe I will post some. I want to be with my family and use them for inspiration--because they always inspire me, and I want to look across the table at my mother on thanksgiving and say, "these mashed potatoes are so creamy!" and we will all laugh because we've heard the line so many times, and it's a great line.

Don't punch me, but I have never seen Pride and Prejudice! Or read it. I know, it's sad. I should. I just never do. Maybe you could give me that little push!
